Jamaica - High school seniors and college trip
June 10 - June 17, 2012
This team will serve God and the people of Jamaica in this lush and beautiful country that has pockets of severe poverty and social inequality. You will explore the contrast, partnering with IsleGO Missions and Grace Community Church to run a Vacation Bible School (VBS) in Steertown, deliver clothing, shoes and food to needy families, work on construction of a Community Center and visit a nursing home infirmary. There also may be an opportunity to conduct a soccer outreach.

Age: This trip is for high school seniors and college students only.

- Eighty percent of Jamaican children are born to unwed parents.
- Forty-six percent of Jamaican households are headed by a female single parent.
- It is not uncommon for children to go without food for several days.
