Namibia - Constructing a Youth Center in Windhoek

October 5 - October 18, 2010

This team will be constructing a Youth Center for the children, youth and young adults in the Five Rand Camp supporting the work of our Missionary Pastor Lon Garber and his wife, Val.  The Youth Center will be a safe haven for children as well as a training ground to educate future leaders to know and love Jesus and to, in turn, spread that love and hope in a country that is in dire need of both.  Team members should have a construction background, especially masonry skills.  Also desirable is a willingness to “learn on the job” and a strong desire to pitch in and “get the job done.”
